A Sneak Peek

I finally, at the last minute, have finished three pieces for TDIPT Mercantile's update tomorrow night. I thought I'd offer you a look at one of the three pieces, hope you enjoy him.



The Santa Stocking measures about 16" tall and is full of detail and lots of handwork. I also have a Gingerbread Girl Make-Do and a Peace & Joy Angel doll.

So don't forget to be there tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m. eastern time for the opening of the December Mercantile. There will be so many wonderful things for your Holiday decorating or that perfect gift for a friend. Hope to see you there!~Diane

New on Ebay.

I love how this SnowDoll Make-Do turned out, hope you enjoy it too. The auction started last night just before 10:30 p.m. eastern time and will end next Sunday, November 30th at the same time. That will be the same night TDIPT Mercantile will update, it's so hard to believe update time has rolled around again!

I'm also finishing up my swap box for our TDIPT group Christmas swap, December 1st is our deadline to mail. I'll show pictures when mine arrives and let you know who sent it. It's a surprise to us who got our name.

I'm also putting the finishing touches on the things for my Blog Give-Away. I'll be sending out an email about that to all on my list so if you haven't signed up, please do. dla53@earthlink.net

I'm also busy on a couple of orders that I need to get done, so back to my sewing. Have a happy week and a very blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Just a couple of things.....

Well it's been awhile, I've been really busy. Lots of sewing, a couple of days off to go shopping and meeting friends for lunch and some antiquing. But finally, I'm reaching a point where I'll be listing some things on my Selling Blog and having my Give-Away here on this blog. I'll send out a mailing for both, so if you're not on my email list already drop me a line at dla53@earthlink.net so I can add you.

I'm finishing up a SnowDoll Make-Do to hopefully list by Sunday evening on Ebay, I'll add a picture here as soon as I finish it, I'm really enjoying how this one is turning out, hope you will also. I'm also working on my things for the TDIPT Mercantile update on the night of November 30th.

For Simply Primitives

Well I was able to finish two pieces for Simply Primitives Nov. 15th update. A Snow Doll hanger and A Ginger Girl hanger/cupboard doll.

Both have lots of details and handwork, hope you like them.

Right now I'm working on a few small things for a friend's Holiday Open House this weekend, then something else for Ebay. I also need to work on an ornament for our TDIPT swap we're doing. I love these swaps and the TDIPT members are the best swappers! For this one, to be mailed the first week in December, we don't know who will be sending to us. We're to include a handmade ornament and bought things based on a questionaire of our likes and dislikes that all the participants filled out. It's so much fun to shop for little goodies, candy, candles, etc. all based on the answers we each gave. As we receive our swap boxes we post pictures in our group forum on Ebay so we all get to oooh and aaah over each other's swap box. I'll let you know who I sent to and who sent to me (along with pictures) sometime in December. I have several things ready and have a couple I'd like to make. Needless to say, we all thoroughly enjoy swap time and sharing in each other's good fortune when we see what our partners sent us.

I need to get back to work, I haven't accomplished much sewing today. My Aunt and I went to the apple orchard to get some apples, I also bought a peck of sweet potatoes for pies, and to bake with some of the apples. Of course we also ate lunch while out, so I just haven't gotten as much done today as I should have. But, we all need to take a break from time to time. I enjoyed mine today!

New on Ebay...Santa Make-Do

~WINTER WONDERLAND~. The launch started last Sunday, you can go to Ebay and type TDIPT in the search box to see all the wonderful items listed during this week. I'm hoping to list my Santa Friday evening to run for 5 days.

I'm also anxious to get my selling blog up and running, hopefully that'll be real soon. Keep checking in to find out when it's ready to open.
