Things have been very busy here and I've been a very bad blogger. The Spring, so far, has been full of yardwork and sewing and all of life's necessary endeavors (cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc). I've not been listing on Ebay, the fees and the percentage of sales they keep don't quite seem fair. I've had the good fortune of selling all of the dolls I've made on face book, not to mention the orders I've received also. So, for the forseeable future I'll continue to offer the dolls this way. If you've not asked to become "friends" with me please feel free to do so. My face book page can be accessed by clicking the link to the right.
Currently I'm working on an order of fall/Halloween dolls for an antique shop in Ohio, I'll let you know more about this later. It's something I haven't done for quite a while, so when I was approached about it I decided to give it a try. The shop also has a face book page and I'll give you more details on that soon so if you live close enough to visit the shop you can do so.
I just wanted to touch base with those of you that may not use face book so you can know what I've been doing and that I am still making dolls. Hopefully it won't be as long between posts.
~Take care...email if you ever have any questions regarding the dolls.
Pictured above is my new rabbit that I listed on Ebay Monday evening. You can click on my Ebay link at right to visit the auction. It will continue until next Monday night.
I don't know why, but for some reason I cannot put a picture in a post anymore, Blogger won't let me. Do any of you have any ideas? I haven't had much time lately to look into it but I would like to get it figured out.
Thanks so much, I hope to have another doll, most likely an Americana/patriotic piece, finished soon.
It's snowing tonight in Virginia and I'm longing for the warmer, sunnier days to come.
I've been sewing on rabbits and listed a new girl bunny on Ebay Tuesday evening, you can click on my Ebay link (to the right) and see her listing. I'm working on many more bunnies, special orders and extras to offer for sale. Please continue to check here or on my facebook page for updates.
Hoping the snow ends soon. My daffodils had started to send up shoots of greenery so I know when the snow melts and the warm, sunny days come the daffodils won't be far behind.
After the hustle and bustle of the holidays things are settling back into my routine of household chores and sewing. I hope to have a new doll to offer soon. I've caught a bit of time here and there and have been working on a small, mid-winter snowgirl.
I'm also going through boxes of old fabrics and trims and thinning out a whole lot. I think fabric is my one true addiction but after awhile I just have to get rid of some. So, the excess will be donated and I'll have room for more!
Be looking for the new doll very soon. Also, my belated best wishes to all of you for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
