Finally our weather has cooled a bit, it's still quite humid but at least we're not having mid 90's to 100 degree days! We are also getting some much-needed rain. The grass and flowers are looking so much better too. We're just picking a few tomatoes and squash from the garden now. Pumpkins and salad greens will follow in September.

I'm working on finishing some orders, I have doll bodies ready and waiting for some clothes. So that's what I'll be doing the next few days.

Debuting on Ebay later tonight

~slight delay~

I had hoped to have Jack and Joe (subject to change) finished and listed on Ebay tonight but no such luck. I thought I had them all figured out but I bought some new fabrics Friday so there have been some changes. I'm liking how they are coming together now. I don't make many boy dolls but I'm enjoying working on Jack's colorful attire.

Anyhow, I hope to list them tomorrow night, I'll also post a picture of them here. This week I plan to get started on an order for a harvest Santa.

I want to thank all of you that emailed me with kind words about my debut piece on Pfatt Marketplace. She's headed to PA tomorrow to her new home. After finishing that doll, I took a few days off from my sewing. I'm now back at work on a piece for Ebay. Hopefully I'll be listing tomorrow night, if not, it'll be Sunday evening.

The weather continues to be very hot and humid here in Virginia, I'm so longing for the cooler temps of Fall. I know it will be here very soon though, the time just seems to fly by, faster and faster each year.
