For TDIPT Mercantile

Well I hope you all are having an enjoyable weekend. Ours has been rainy, but that's ok, we needed rain.

I finished up this sweet Autumn Angel for the Mercantile update on the night of Sept. 30th. I had hoped to complete a couple of things, but time didn't allow for it. Maybe next month.

Also, since my pictures here are so lousy, I'm also including the link for her slideshow: http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h62/tallowberry/?action=view&current=9a8fa650.pbw

Hope you enjoy the little sneak peek.

I'm on to something new for Ebay next and also have a couple of orders to get done. I probably won't start on these until Monday. Tomorrow I'm making dinner for my Aunt's birthday. We'll have baked chicken, the last of the squash and stringbeans from the garden, potato salad and lemon meringue pie. Making all of this won't leave me with any sewing time until Monday.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend, get out and enjoy the Fall weather, winter will be here before you know it!

Take care.....Diane

New on Ebay tonight.

Here's my new listing...Sarah, the Pilgrim Girl. She'll run until next Tuesday night, Sept. 3oth. Hope you get a chance to take a look at her.

Her link: Primitive Thanksgiving Doll/Hanger w/Pumpkin/Pear~TDIPT

Now it's on to the Mercantile, there always seems to be a deadline! And, as if I didn't already have enough I've joined another online market, The Primitive Gathering. It's a wonderful group of primitive Artists, many of whom I know you'll recognize and I'm very flattered to be accepted into the group. I'll be debuting there on October the 15th. I decided to join because Ebay is so unpredictable at times. I hope you'll follow along and join me in this new venture. Of course, I'll let you know all about it here first.

Now, I need to get to bed, til next time....

Fall is in the air!

Fall began today and it definitely is starting to feel like Fall. I love the cooler days and even cooler nights. Our leaves haven't started changing yet but soon will. The glorious reds, golds and oranges, it's always so beautiful this time of year.

I have a few pumpkins from our garden but haven't bought any mums yet. I'm looking forward to adding some bronze and yellow mums to my pumpkins and gourds. I tend to do more decorating with "Fall" colors and things instead of Halloween colors and decorations. I hope to get my outside decorating finished by the weekend.

I'm working on a piece for Ebay. At first she didn't seem to want to work out but I've spent most of today working on her and I have to say she's really turning out even better that I hoped. I plan to list her tomorrow night, I'll try to post a picture tomorrow of her. By the way, I'm still trying to get the pictures figured out, they are all too small!

I'm also trying to get something finished for the Mercantile, it updates on the 1st of Oct. but we have to have a pictures ready by the 25th or 26th. It doesn't leave me much time, so I'll say good-night and get back to my sewing.

Til tomorrow.....~Diane~

A Thank you and what's going on...

It's been over a week since I've had time to post....a very busy week!

First, I'd like to thank everyone that visited and/or placed bids during the Miracles for Mallory Auction. I don't know a total yet but I do hope we raised lots of money to help out this very worthy cause.

I finished two pieces for Simply Primitives( http://www.simplyprimitives.com/artisans/tallowberry.html ) update. Hope you get a chance to go take a look at the fabulous offerings from all the artists. My two pieces are a Snowman Hanger and a small Snowman Make-Do.

TDIPT Mercantile also updated last night, http://www.tdiptmercantile.com/ There are lots of wonderful pieces being offered by the artists that update on the 15th. I already see some SOLD signs!

I finished some pieces last week for one of the shops I sell to and now I'm working on some for my friend Donna of Southern Star Antiques. She's having a Fall Open House this Saturday. You can go to her PictureTrail site and see the ongoing renovation of her shop and pictures of items for sale. Donna has some of the most wonderful Antiques. Her link is:

I also have a new design I'm working on for Ebay, I'm not sure yet when I'll get her listed, I'll let you know.

Well, this catches you up on what I've been doing, hopefully it won't be so long until my next post. 'Til then....

An Update....

I've been working hard to finish up the set of two designs I'll be offering for the Miracles for Mallory Charity Auction that begins Sat. Sept 7th at midnight and runs until midnight on the 14th. Some of the items have been listed and can be previewed at www.miraclesformallory.com
You can also read how the auction and bidding will be handled.

I'm working on companion pieces, one for Fall and one for Christmas. I'll also be offering complimentary shipping to the winning bidder.

I do hope you'll take some time to take a look and hopefully see something you just have to have! Remember, it's for a very worthwhile cause and the proceeds will go to a fund used to help other families dealing with this same birth defect, Trisomy 18. So please take a look and "Good Luck", I hope you win what you bid on!

On to another subject, I was given an award by Linda of www.simpletresures.blogspot.com
Thank you so much Linda for the honor! I'm supposed to pass it along to other Bloggers, I hope to do this soon when I get it all figured out (remember, I'm very new to Blogging and it's so much to learn).

I've also been finishing up a special order I've had for sometime. I plan to mail that Monday, then I have a few things to make for a shop here in VA, they have to be finished for a Harvest Open House Sept 13th. I also have one more order from TDIPT to make. I'm also making something for the Simply Primitives update the 15th of the month. Needless to say, it's a very busy time for me, but I DO love it!

I haven't forgotten mentioning a Prize Give-Away here on my Blog. As soon as the items in the above paragraph are taken care of I'll get to work on that.

Well I have enough to keep me busy for quite awhile, so off to work I go! Till next time.....
